Welcome to the homepage of McLean Select Basketball ("MSB"). MSB is a select basketball program that competes in the Fairfax County Youth Basketball League ("FCYBL").
McLean Select Basketball fields girls' and boys' teams in the following age groups: 10-Under/5th Grade, 11-Under/6th Grade, 12-Under/7th Grade, 13-Under/8th Grade (14-Under for 8th grade girls).

McLean Teams Shine in Summer League Action: Five Teams Make Finals and Win Three Championships!
The 2010 Fairfax Stars Summer league wrapped up on July 29 and five McLean Select Basketball teams made the finals, with three teams bringing home championships for McLean:

Boys 10U-Valentine win B10-1 championship

Girls 10U-Meredith win G10-1 championship

Girls 11U-Buckley win G11-1 championship

Girls 11U-Peters take silver in G11-2

Girls 12U-Butler take silver in G13-2
Congratulations to all our teams that played summer leagues, including the five teams listed above. What a great lead-in to Select team tryouts in October for our McLean Select teams.

Coach Buckley Takes 12 McLean Select Players to Camp in New York Run by Former Duke Teammate Greg Koubek
 On Monday, August 16, led by McLean Select 2010-2011 11U Division 1 team coach Clay Buckley, a group of 12 McLean Select girls' players departed from Northern Virginia to attend a week of Greg Koubek Basketball Camp at Brandt Lake, NY (just north of Lake George upstate).
