Fees are payable to McLean Youth Basketball at the time of registration. The fee chart below shows the breakdown of our fee structure for each league and grades within each league. The Base Feerepresents the registration fee for management of the program which includes, but is not limited to, uniforms,equipment, referee fees, supplies, trophies and tournaments. The Facility Improvement Fee is money earmarked specifically to pay for the improvements to facilities used by McLean Youth Basketball, with an emphasis on replacing substandard flooring in schools, as well as replacement of broken or substandard baskets and backboards. The County Fee is collected from each player and remitted to Fairfax County for use of their facilities. The Total Fee for the season is indicated in red.

Late Fees: A late fee of $20.00 will be added to all registrations completed after our initial enrollment period. The date for late fee varies for different leagues and grades and is consistent with evaluations and team placement timeframes.
Development League (Grades 1 through 3): On or after November 8
House League (Grades 4-8): On or after October 15
House League - High School (Grades 9-12): On or after December 1
Select League: On or after October 15
Only players who have paid their registration fees in full will be eligible to be placed on a team and participate in League activities.
Players who register but do not pay their fees prior to evaluations will not be permitted to participate in evaluations:
In the case of Select League, if your child is not chosen for a team, you have two options.
If you decide to not play basketball in McLean Youth Basketball House League, a full refund will be given.
If your child wants to play in House League, then your registration will be changed and the
difference in fees between the two leagues will be refunded.
If you register for House League and your child makes his or her high school team, you will
receive a full refund. However, please notify the administrator as soon as possible so your
child is not placed on a team.
Refund Policy: Refunds will be provided under the following circumstances:
Injury or sickness that occurs before the season starts and will keep player from participating for most or all of the season.
Player tries out for the Select League and does not make a team and decides not to participate in McLean Youth Basketball.(full refund) A refund for the difference in fees paid is given if the player decides to participate in House League basketball.
A player makes his or her high school team. (full refund)
Consideration will be given for other extenuating circumstances, however, they will be reviewed on an individual basis and there will be a $25.00 administrative fee charged.
