Certified Building Director Exam

Coaches must take and pass the Fairfax County Certified Volunteer Building Director Exam.  Certification is good for two years.  The link for the exam is as follows:

Once completed, PLEASE EMAIL A COPY of the certification to certification@mcleanbasketball.com so that we have a record of completion.
 

Certified Volunteer Building Director Exam
 
-All McLean Youth Basketball coaches must pass the Certified Volunteer Building Director exam. A short training video and the exam can be found online at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/ncs/athletics/vbd.htm.
-Building directors must be at least 18 years old.
-Building directors must wear their badges and be readily available at all times while on duty.

Fairfax County facility monitors will be asking to see building director badges and ensuring the coaches are adequately ensuring that groups are following the rules and regulations of gym use.
